Introducing ReviewAI: AI-Powered Google Reviews for Local Businesses

The Problem No One Talks About

Ask any local business owner what their biggest challenge is, and most will say the same thing: getting customers to leave Google reviews.

Not because customers are unhappy. In fact, the opposite is often true. A restaurant in Hyderabad fills up every weekend. A salon in Bangalore has clients who have been coming back for years. A clinic in Pune has patients who genuinely trust their doctor. These are businesses with real, loyal customers who are happy to recommend them to friends and family.

Yet their Google profiles tell a different story. A handful of reviews, most of them generic. “Good food.” “Nice service.” “Okay place.” And sometimes, nothing at all.

The gap is not satisfaction. The gap is friction.

Most customers want to leave a review. They open Google, see the blank text box, and freeze. What do I even write? How much detail should I give? Will it sound natural? The moment passes, the tab gets closed, and another potential review is lost.

This is the problem we set out to solve at Enerasoft Technologies. And the result is ReviewAI.

What Is ReviewAI?

ReviewAI is an AI-powered review collection platform built specifically for local businesses in India. It helps business owners collect high-quality, well-written Google reviews from their customers — without asking customers to write a single word themselves.

The platform is live at reviewai.cc and available for any local business to start using for free today.

How It Works

The customer journey is designed to take under 60 seconds from start to finish, with zero typing required.

Step 1 — The QR Code

Business owners register on ReviewAI, provide details about their business, and receive a unique QR code for each of their locations. This QR code can be downloaded as a print-ready PNG or PDF, and placed anywhere customers naturally pause — the billing counter, the reception desk, the dining table, the waiting area.

Step 2 — The Customer Scans

When a customer scans the QR code with their phone camera, the ReviewAI review page opens instantly in their browser. No app to download. No account to create. Just a clean, fast-loading page on whatever browser they already have.

Step 3 — Stars and Tags

The customer selects a star rating from one to five. Based on their rating, a short set of contextual tags appears — for a restaurant, these might be Food Quality, Service Speed, or Ambiance; for a salon, Hair Service, Staff Friendliness, or Cleanliness. The customer taps one to three tags that match their experience. The whole step takes about ten seconds.

Step 4 — AI Generates the Review

Here is where ReviewAI does the heavy lifting. Based on the star rating, the selected tags, the business category, and the specific products or services the business offers, our AI generates two to five polished, human-sounding review options for the customer to choose from.

Each suggestion is different in structure, phrasing, and tone. A five-star rating produces genuinely enthusiastic options. A four-star rating produces mostly positive options with a gentle note of something that could be better. A two or one-star rating produces honest, constructive feedback — firm and direct, but never abusive or threatening.

The customer reads through the options and taps the one that best matches how they actually feel. They can also edit it if they want to add a personal detail.

Step 5 — Posted to Google

Once a review is selected, the text is automatically copied to the customer’s clipboard and Google Maps opens on the business’s review page. The customer pastes the text and hits Post.

That is the entire flow. Scan, tap, choose, paste, post. Under 60 seconds. No blank page. No overthinking. No friction.

Why ReviewAI Generates Better Reviews, Not Just More Reviews

Most businesses focus on review quantity. ReviewAI is built to improve both quantity and quality — because quality is what actually moves your Google ranking.

Google’s local search algorithm does not just count reviews. It reads them. A review that mentions your Chicken Biryani, your location in Banjara Hills, and a family dinner on a Saturday evening contains the exact signals Google looks for when someone searches “best biryani near me” or “family restaurant in Banjara Hills.” A generic “good food” review tells Google almost nothing.

ReviewAI’s AI generation is designed to produce reviews that naturally include these signals. Business owners on the Pro plan can add custom keywords — specific dishes, services, or qualities they want mentioned — and the AI weaves these into the generated options naturally, without keyword stuffing. SEO mode instructs the AI to include location-specific and category-specific phrases that improve local search visibility.

Every generated review also goes through a content moderation layer that ensures the language is always polished and professional, regardless of the star rating. A one-star review from an unhappy customer, generated through ReviewAI, will be honest and clear without being aggressive or threatening. This protects both the customer’s authenticity and the business’s reputation.

Who Is ReviewAI Built For

ReviewAI is built for any local business that relies on Google reviews for new customers. During our research and early testing, the categories where the need is most acute are:

Restaurants and cafes — where customers are already on their phones at the end of a meal, and the QR code fits naturally into the billing experience.

Salons and beauty businesses — where clients are relaxed and happy at the end of a service, and a QR code at the reception desk is easy to action before they leave.

Clinics and healthcare providers — where patients want to recommend their doctor but struggle to articulate medical experiences in writing.

Gyms and fitness centres — where members have high emotional investment in their results and are natural advocates, but rarely think to put that into a Google review.

Hotels and guest houses — where the post-checkout moment is the natural trigger for a review, and a QR code at reception captures that moment perfectly.

Retail shops and pharmacies — where the billing counter is already a natural pause point, and a QR standee can sit right next to the payment terminal.

If a business has walk-in customers who interact with staff, ReviewAI can work for it.

Language Support

ReviewAI launched with support for English and Hindi. This matters because a large proportion of India’s local business customers are more comfortable reading and choosing a review in Hindi than in English — and a review that feels natural to the customer is a review that actually gets posted.

The language toggle is available with one tap on the review selection screen. Additional Indian languages including Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Punjabi, and Marathi are planned for future releases.

Pricing

ReviewAI is available on a free plan that includes unlimited QR scans, two AI-generated review suggestions, and one business location. No credit card is required to get started.

The Pro plan unlocks up to five locations, five review suggestions, custom keywords, SEO-optimized review generation, Hindi language support, tone customization, and analytics. Pro is available at Rs. 149 per month, Rs. 449 for six months, or Rs. 999 per year.

Negative Review Protection

One concern business owners often raise is: what happens when an unhappy customer scans the QR code? Does ReviewAI amplify negative reviews?

The answer is nuanced. A customer who had a genuinely poor experience deserves to be able to express that honestly — and ReviewAI does not block or suppress negative feedback. But there is a meaningful difference between honest negative feedback and an angry rant written in the heat of the moment.

ReviewAI’s AI-generated suggestions for one and two-star ratings are constructive and measured. They express dissatisfaction clearly and specifically, without being abusive, threatening, or defamatory. The result is feedback that is actually useful to the business owner and credible to future customers, rather than the kind of impulsive, heated review that causes lasting reputational damage out of proportion to the actual issue.

What We Built This On

ReviewAI is built by Enerasoft Technologies LLP, a software company based in Hyderabad, India, focused on building AI-powered products for Indian businesses and markets.
